7) What is your nicest souvenir with relations to this hotel? a) The first time I came here the GM was not in the house. I filled in the questionnaire at reception before leaving. After a few days I received a personal note from this gentleman thanking me for my suggestions and sending best wishes. I mean this is just such a nice gesture. And then when you arrive they welcome you in a traditional Himalayan way, with oil lamps and a prayer and this necklace. And when you leave they tie this red ribbon around your arm, making a little ceremony and wishing you a good trip and all. I find that touching. Other people may say it’s hogwash but I can assure you that they genuinely mean it.
